Splatting enemies helps you take over their territory, but Splatoon shines as an accessible multiplayer game where even less skilled players feel like they’re contributing. Your primary ink-blasting weapon can be a handheld blaster, a machine gun, dual pistols, a bucket of paint, a person-sized paint roller, an umbrella (that shoots paint), or one of many other tools.
